Congratulations to William, who won the ‘Fish Out of Water’ colouring competition, from the Night Market. William called his fish, Charles, and told us that his fish bites. Charles does look a bit scary, doesn’t he! William’s prize was two tickets to the children’s kite-making workshop.

Congratulations to Kristina Rachacova for winning the wall-hung category in the toiBOP exhibition awards, with her work In Your Arms (pictured). Peter Edwards won the free-standing category for his work Te Rotoiti i kite ai a Ihenga. A big thanks to our prize sponsors Jo-Anne La Grouw, Lockwood and Pure Source, and to our judge Dick Frizzell.

Congratulations to Rotorua local Chrissy Hintz who won the $100 Prezzy Card by correctly identifying all the fish locations on the Fish Out of Water trail. Click here to see all fish that were part of the trail.

Congratulations to Catherine Ward who won the 2024 Lockwood People’s Choice Award, with her oil on linen work Light and Clay. Catherine took home a $600 cash prize. The work was selected from over 60 works by visitors to the toiBOP exhibition, held at the Lockwood Show Homes. A huge thanks to our host and sponsor Lockwood.

Congratulations also to Nikki Hyde, who won $400 by voting in the Lockwood People’s Choice award, and was randomly drawn from all those who voted. Nikki’s favourite work was The Transformation by Sian Cox.
